What a hidden gem. The food was amazing. The staff was so helpful and attentive. The salsa bar is such fun. You have to try the hibiscus salsa. Go early as it gets really busy. A must go to...

This place has a loaded menu of Mexican dishes that goes far beyond the basics (they serve breakfast, too). There's lots I wanted to try, but I settled on the caldo tlalpeno and grilled shrimp and grilled fish tacos. The soup was excellent -- great flavors, subtle spice, huge portion, and the chicken was super tender and juicy (it's easy to dry out chicken in soups). The tacos were pretty good and had a tasty house sauce. The fish was better than the shrimp. They also have complimentary chips, beans, and a salsa bar. The place has indoor and outdoor seating, and a very small, but super comfy bar area. Service was great and I'd be plenty happy to come back here.

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Phoenix!! Fantastic flavors - don't skip the salsa bar! I really want to try more of their food, but I haven't been able to NOT get the Camerones Culichi dish! They have a lot of tasty beverage options as well. Love the historic interior and there's also a patio option - both are a little noisy. The wait staff does a great job keeping this busy place humming!

Beautiful establishment with a wide variety of tequila and southern cuisine. Whether you're part of a big group or simply want to pull up for a couple of tacos, Casa Corazon has such a vibe. Their flour tortilla base is high tier. The service was prompt and very friendly. Huge fan of salsa bars! Thank you for taking such great care of us.

Went for a second time this weekend just to solidify my review and, this time around, had the Jamaica(hibiscus) margarita and red snapper dish. The margarita was delicious, which I feel had maybe 80% Jamaica, 20% alcohol which to me was great and allowed me to try the passion fruit margarita(also great) without any concerns of "drinking too much". The red snapper had the right amount of seasoning and cryspiness , my only complaint was not enough meat on the fish and no tortillas on the side provided, which often time is traditionally part of the dish That aside, everything was great, from food to service all the way to my favorite, the salsa bar! The must try is the pineapple, and hibiscus salsa won't disappoint!

This place seems out of place in this neighborhood. Seems recently redone and beautiful inside with what appears to be a yard and other building for events. Food is very good. Salsa is probably best in the area. Salsa bar has many options and not just 2-4 like a lot of places. I would give atmosphere 5 stars but being smaller I had a hard time hearing. Had the special enchiladas. Our group also had the mole and a pork burrito. I didn’t onow what pink sauce for the enchilada was and they let you sample the sauces. Nice touch. Mole sauce was very good. Burrito was stuffed well and not smashed. Recommend the place

This charming spot near downtown, located beside a church, offers a cozy atmosphere with limited but convenient parking. Inside, a salsa bar greets you at the entrance, leading to a modern, minimalist dining area. The restaurant features enticing happy hour and lunch specials. Guests are welcomed with house-made chips and beans. Menu highlights include flavorful shrimp tomato soup, crispy chicharron tacos (a rare find), shredded beef tacos, and delicious shrimp tacos. Though slightly pricey, the food quality, friendly service, and inviting vibe make it worth visiting.
